Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2025/2106 6.11.2025 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEENo 170/2025 of 11 July 2025 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2025/2106] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Regulation (EU) 2022/2480 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 December 2022 amending Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 as regards decisions of European standardisation organisations concerning European standards and European standardisation deliverables(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Decision (EU) 2023/1338 of 28 June 2023 on the safety requirements to be met by European standards for certain children’s products and related products pursuant to Directive 2001/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Chapter XIX of Annex II to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows: 1. The following is added in point 2 (Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council): ‘, as amended by: — 32022 R 2480: Regulation (EU) 2022/2480 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 December 2022 (OJ L 323, 19.12.2022, p. 1).’ 2. The following point is inserted after point 3vc (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/733): ‘3w. 32023 D 1338: Commission Decision (EU) 2023/1338 of 28 June 2023 on the safety requirements to be met by European standards for certain children’s products and related products pursuant to Directive 2001/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 166, 30.6.2023, p. 162).’ Article 2 The texts of Regulation (EU) 2022/2480 and Decision (EU) 2023/1338 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
