THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/599 of 8 April 2022 on the recognition of the Biomass Biofuels
Sustainability voluntary scheme (2BSvs) for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive
(EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable
liquid and gaseous fuels of non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(2) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/600 of 8 April 2022 on the recognition of the ‘Bonsucro EU’
voluntary scheme for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the
European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable liquid and gaseous fuels of
non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/601 of 8 April 2022 on the recognition of the ‘Better Biomass’
voluntary scheme for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the

(EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable
liquid and gaseous fuels of non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(9) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(10) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/609 of 8 April 2022 on the recognition of the ‘SURE’ voluntary
scheme for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the European
Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable liquid and gaseous fuels of non-
biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(10)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(11) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/610 of 8 April 2022 on the recognition of the ‘Trade Assurance
Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC)’ for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive
(EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable
liquid and gaseous fuels of non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(11) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(12) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/611 of 8 April 2022 on the recognition of the ‘Universal Feed
Assurance Scheme (UFAS)’ for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of
the European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable liquid and gaseous
fuels of non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(12)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(13) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1656 of 26 September 2022 on recognition of the Austrian
agricultural certification scheme (AACS) for demonstrating compliance with the requirements set in Directive
(EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable
liquid and gaseous fuels of non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(13) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(14) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1657 of 26 September 2022 on the recognition of the Sustainable
Biomass Program voluntary scheme for demonstrating compliance with the requirements of Directive
(EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council for biofuels, bioliquids, biomass fuels, renewable
liquid and gaseous fuels of non-biological origin and recycled carbon fuels(14) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.

This Decision shall enter into force on 12 July 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
