Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/317 8.2.2024 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 198/2021 of 9 July 2021 amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) and Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2024/317] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/616 of 13 April 2021 amending Annexes II, III and V to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for benalaxyl, benalaxyl-M, dichlobenil, fluopicolide, proquinazid and pyridalyl in or on certain products(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/618 of 15 April 2021 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for diclofop, fluopyram, ipconazole and terbuthylazine in or on certain products(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/644 of 15 April 2021 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for fluxapyroxad, hymexazol, metamitron, penflufen and spirotetramat in or on certain products(3) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (4) Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/663 of 22 April 2021amending Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for chlordecone in or on certain products(4)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (5) This Decision concerns legislation regarding feedingstuffs and foodstuffs. Legislation regarding feedingstuffs and foodstuffs shall not apply to Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified in the sectoral adaptations to Annex I and the introduction to Chapter XII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement. This Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein. (6) Annexes I and II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following indents are added in point 40 (Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Chapter II of Annex I to the EEA Agreement: ‘- 32021 R 0616: Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/616 of 13 April 2021(OJ L 131, 16.4.2021, p. 4), - 32021 R 0618: Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/618 of 15 April 2021(OJ L 131, 16.4.2021, p. 55), (1) OJ L 131, 16.4.2021, p. 4.
