L 85/14 EN Official Journal of the European Union 23.3.2023 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 208/2022 of 8 July 2022 amending Annex V (Free movement of workers) and Annex VIII (Right of establishment) to the EEA Agreement [2023/625] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Regulation (EU) 2022/1034 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 June 2022amending Regulation (EU) 2021/953 on a framework for the issuance, verification and acceptance of interoperable COVID-19 vaccination, test and recovery certificates (EU Digital COVID Certificate) to facilitate free movement during the COVID-19 pandemic(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annexes V and VIII to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following indent is added in point 10 (Regulation (EU) 2021/953 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Annex V to the EEA Agreement: ‘– 32022 R 1034: Regulation (EU) 2022/1034 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 June 2022(OJ L 173, 30.6.2022, p. 37).’ Article 2 The following indent is added in point 11 (Regulation (EU) 2021/953 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Annex VIII to the EEA Agreement: ‘– 32022 R 1034: Regulation (EU) 2022/1034 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 June 2022(OJ L 173, 30.6.2022, p. 37).’ Article 3 The text of Regulation (EU) 2022/1034 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 4 This Decision shall enter into force on 9 July 2022, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*.
