Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2024/295 8.2.2024 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 210/2021 of 9 July 2021 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement 2024/295 THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Directive (EU) 2020/2088 of 11 December 2020amending Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the labelling of allergenic fragrances in toys(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Directive (EU) 2020/2089 of 11 December 2020amending Annex II to Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the prohibition of allergenic fragrances in toys(2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following indents are added in point 1a (Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Chapter XXIII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement: ‘- 32020 L 2088: Commission Directive (EU) 2020/2088 of 11 December 2020(OJ L 423, 15.12.2020, p. 53), - 32020 L 2089: Commission Directive (EU) 2020/2089 of 11 December 2020(OJ L 423, 15.12.2020, p. 58).’ Article 2 The texts of Directives (EU) 2020/2088 and (EU) 2020/2089 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 10 July 2021, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*.
