23.3.2023 EN Official Journal of the European Union L 85/21 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 212/2022 of 8 July 2022 amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2023/629] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1145 of 30 June 2021on the application of Directive 2009/103/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to checks on insurance against civil liability in respect of the use of motor vehicles normally based in Montenegro and the United Kingdom(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 8f (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/1358) of Annex IX to the EEA Agreement: ‘8g. 32021 D 1145: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1145 of 30 June 2021 on the application of Directive 2009/103/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to checks on insurance against civil liability in respect of the use of motor vehicles normally based in Montenegro and the United Kingdom (OJ L 247, 13.7.2021, p. 100).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1145 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 9 July 2022, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*.
