Decision No 215/2025 of the EEA Joint Committee, dated 19 September 2025, amends Annex XI (Electronic communication, audiovisual services and information society) to the EEA Agreement [2026/45].
It incorporates Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/650 of 26 March 2025, amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1538 concerning harmonized technical conditions for short-range devices within the 874-876 and 915-921 MHz frequency bands into the EEA Agreement. The following indent is added in point 5czq (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1538) of Annex XI to the EEA Agreement: '32025 D 0650: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/650 of 26 March 2025 (OJ L, 2025/650, 1.4.2025)'. The Icelandic and Norwegian texts of Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/650 will be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union. This Decision enters into force on 20 September 2025, provided that all notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made. The Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.

EEA Agreement [2026/45]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/650 of 26 March 2025 amending Implementing Decision
(EU) 2018/1538 as regards the update of harmonised technical conditions for short-range devices within the
874-876 and 915-921 MHz frequency bands(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Annex XI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following indent is added in point 5czq (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1538) of Annex XI to the EEA
Agreement:
‘— 32025 D 0650: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/650 of 26 March 2025 (OJ L, 2025/650, 1.4.2025).’
Article 2
The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/650 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA
Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 20 September 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the
EEA Agreement have been made(*).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European
Union.
