amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2023/633]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/192 of 20 October 2021amending the regulatory technical standards
laid down in Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1151/2014 as regards the information to be notified when
exercising the right of establishment and the freedom to provide services(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA
Agreement.
(2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/193 of 17 November 2021amending the implementing technical
standards laid down in Implementing Regulation (EU) No 926/2014 laying down standard forms, templates and
procedures as regards the information to be notified when exercising the right of establishment and the freedom to
provide services(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Annex IX to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:
1. The following is added in point 14c (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 926/2014):
‘, as amended by:
— 32022 R 0193: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/193 of 17 November 2021(OJ L 31, 14.2.2022,
p. 4).’
2. The following is added in point 14d (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1151/2014):
‘, as amended by:
— 32022 R 0192: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/192 of 20 October 2021(OJ L 31, 14.2.2022, p. 1).’
Article 2
The texts of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/192 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/193 in the Icelandic and
Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 9 July 2022, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made*.
