Decision No 234/2025 of the EEA Joint Committee, dated 24 October 2025, amends Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2026/223].
The decision incorporates Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1105 of 3 June 2025, regarding the classification of ketoprofen, into the EEA Agreement.
Article 1 adds "32025 R 1105: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1105 of 3 June 2025 (OJ L, 2025/1105, 4.6.2025)" to point 13 of Chapter XIII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement. The text of Regulation (EU) 2025/1105 will be published in Icelandic and Norwegian in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal.
This Decision enters into force on 25 October 2025, provided all notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made. It will be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
The decision was made in Brussels on 24 October 2025. The President of the EEA Joint Committee is Stefán Haukur JÓHANNESSON.

EEA Agreement [2026/223]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1105 of 3 June 2025 amending Regulation (EU) No 37/2010 as
regards the classification of the substance ketoprofen with respect to its maximum residue limit in foodstuffs of
animal origin(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following indent is added in point 13 (Commission Regulation (EU) No 37/2010) of Chapter XIII of Annex II to the
EEA Agreement:
‘— 32025 R 1105: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1105 of 3 June 2025 (OJ L, 2025/1105,
4.6.2025).’
Article 2
The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1105 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the
EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 25 October 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made(*).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European
Union.
