5.1.2023 EN Official Journal of the European Union L 4/75 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 241/2019 of 27 September 2019 amending Annex XI (Electronic Communication, Audiovisual Services and Information Society) to the EEA Agreement [2023/46] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/743 of 16 May 2018 on a pilot project to implement the administrative cooperation provisions set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council by means of the Internal Market Information System(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex XI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 5er (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/419) of Annex XI to the EEA Agreement: ‘5es. 32018 D 0743: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/743 of 16 May 2018 on a pilot project to implement the administrative cooperation provisions set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council by means of the Internal Market Information System (OJ L 123, 18.5.2018, p. 115).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/743 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 28 September 2019, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
