Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2025/236 20.2.2025 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 248/2024 of 25 October 2024 amending Annex XX (Environment) to the EEA Agreement [2025/236] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1294 of 1 March 2024 correcting certain language versions of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2867 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council by setting out the guiding principles and criteria for defining the procedures for the verification of the CO emissions and fuel consumption values of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in-service 2 (in-service verification)(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex XX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following is added in point 21azp (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2867) of Annex XX to the EEA Agreement: ‘, as amended by: — 32024 R 1294: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1294 of 1 March 2024(OJ L, 2024/1294, 6.5.2024).’ Article 2 The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1294 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 26 October 2024, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*).
