Official Journal EN of the European Union L series 2025/226 20.2.2025 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 249/2024 of 25 October 2024 amending Annex XX (Environment) to the EEA Agreement [2025/226] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/865 of 18 March 2024 specifying the values relating to the performance of manufacturers and pools of manufacturers of new passenger cars and new light commercial vehicles for the calendar year 2022 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex XX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 21azp (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2867) of Annex XX to the EEA Agreement: ‘21azq. 32024 D 0865: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/865 of 18 March 2024 specifying the values relating to the performance of manufacturers and pools of manufacturers of new passenger cars and new light commercial vehicles for the calendar year 2022 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L, 2024/865, 20.3.2024).’ Article 2 The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/865 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 26 October 2024, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made(*). Article 4 This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union. Done at Brussels, 25 October 2024.
