Executive Summary & Key Takeaways

**Summary:** EEA Joint Committee Decision No. 325/2022, dated 9 December 2022, amends Annex IX (Financial Services) to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). The decision incorporates Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/763 into the EEA Agreement. This regulation lays down implementing technical standards regarding supervisory reporting and public disclosure of the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities, as it applies to Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 and Directive 2014/59/EU. The amendment adds point "14azza. 32021 R 0763" to Annex IX, referencing Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/763, published in the Official Journal L 168, 12.5.2021, p. 1. The Icelandic and Norwegian language texts of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/763 will be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union and are considered authentic. The decision entered into force on 10 December 2022, contingent upon completion of notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement or the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 145/2022, whichever was later. The decision was published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union. Kristjn Andri Stefansson, President of the EEA Joint Committee, signed the decision in Brussels.
