L 78/26 EN Official Journal of the European Union 16.3.2023 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 81/2020 of 12 June 2020 amending Annex IX (Financial Services) to the EEA Agreement [2023/530] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Directive 2013/50/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2013 amending Directive 2004/109/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonisation of transparency requirements in relation to information about issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market, Directive 2003/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the prospectus to be published when securities are offered to the public or admitted to trading and Commission Directive 2007/14/EC laying down detailed rules for the implementation of certain provisions of Directive 2004/109/EC(1), as corrected by OJ L 14, 18.1.2014, p. 35, is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Annex IX to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows: 1. Point 29d (Directive 2004/109/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council) is amended as follows: (i) the following indent is added: ‘— 32013 L 0050: Directive 2013/50/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2013 (OJ L 294, 6.11.2013, p. 13), as corrected by OJ L 14, 18.1.2014, p. 35.’; (ii) adaptations (a) and (b) are renumbered as adaptations (b) and (c); (iii) the following adaptation is inserted before adaptation (b): ‘(a) In Article 2(1)(i), as regards the EFTA States, the words “27 November 2015” shall read “the date of entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 81/2020 of 12 June 2020”.’ 2. The following is added in point 29da (Commission Directive 2007/14/EC): ‘, as amended by: — 32013 L 0050: Directive 2013/50/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2013 (OJ L 294, 6.11.2013, p. 13), as corrected by OJ L 14, 18.1.2014, p. 35.’ Article 2 The text of Directive 2013/50/EU, as corrected by OJ L 14, 18.1.2014, p. 35, in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. (1) OJ L 294, 6.11.2013, p. 13.16.3.2023 EN Official Journal of the European Union L 78/27 Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 13 June 2020, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*.
