NOTIFICATION
The draft of the Directorate of Urban Land Transport Service (Cadre and
Recruitment) Rules, 2025, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make
in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section
8 of the Karnataka State Civil Service Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) is
hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said
Act, for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is
hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days
from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government
from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period
specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections and
suggestions may be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Urban Development
Department, Vikasa Soudha, Bengaluru-560001.5
DRAFT RULES
1. Title and Commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Directorate of
Urban Land Transport Service (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the
official Gazette.
2. Method of recruitment and minimum qualification.-
The Directorate of Urban Land Transport Services shall consist of the
category of posts and scale of pay as specified in column (2) of the Schedule,
appended to these rules, the number of posts, the method of recruitment and
minimum qualifications shall be as specified in corresponding entries in column
(3), (4) and (5) thereof.
