DRAFT RULES 1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Classification and Registration) (Amendment) Rules, 2022. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment of rule 3.- In the Karnataka Educational Institutions (Classification and Registration) Rules, 1997, in rule 3, after sub-rule (3), the following shall be substituted, namely :- “(3)(a) Registration and processing fee once paid shall be applicable for next three years; and (b) in case, if the applicant fails to fulfil all the conditions within stipulated time of three years, Registration and processing fee once paid shall not be refunded for any reason” 3. Repeal. - The Karnataka Educational Institutions (Recognition of Primary and Secondary Schools) (Amendment) Rules, 2020 vide Notification No. ED 52 PGC 2020, dated: 22-04-2021 published in part IVA of Karnataka Gazette dated: 23-07-2021 are hereby repealed.
