और िबदक, नागर जिमानन मंत्रालय, नागर जिमानन क्षत्रे से संबंजधत मुद्दों के जलए नोडल केन्द्रीय मंत्रालय ह,ै
तथा तिनुसार, मंत्रालय न े जहतधारकों एि ं मुख्य आयुक्त, दिव्ांगिन के कायाशलय के परामि श स,े दिव्ांगिनों एिं अन्य
प्रयोक्ता समूहों की पहचाँ की आिश्यकताओं, िो उन्ह ेंसमुजचत िातािरण उपलब्ध करान े एि ंहिाई यात्रा स े िुडी सेिाओं के
संिभश में हो, का समाधान करन ेके उद्देश्य स े 'नागर जिमानन के जलए पहचाँ मानक एि ंदििाजनिेि' तैयार दकए ह।ैं
अब, नागर जिमानन मंत्रालय एतद्द्वारा' नागर जिमानन के जलए पहचाँ मानक तथा दििाजनिेि' अजधसूजचत करता

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th January, 2023
F. No. AV-24032/56/2021-AAI-MoCA.—Whereas Section 40 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act,
2016 envisages that the Central Government shall, in consultation with the Chief Commissioner, formulate rules for
persons with disabilities laying down the standards of accessibility for the physical environment, transportation,
information and communications, including appropriate technologies and systems, and other facilities and services
provided to the public in urban and rural areas.
And whereas, Ministry of Civil Aviation is the nodal Central Ministry with respect to issues concerning civil
aviation sector and accordingly, developed ‘Accessibility Standards and Guidelines for Civil Aviation’ with intend to
address the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities and other user groups in context of built environment and
services associated with air travel, in consultation with stakeholders and office of the Chief Commissioner for Persons
with Disabilities;
Now, Ministry of Civil Aviation hereby notifies the ‘Accessibility Standards and Guidelines for Civil
Aviation’ and the same is available at https://www.civilaviation.gov.in; https://www.aai.aero;
https://www.dgca.gov.in and https://www.bcasindia.gov.in.
