acquired for the Highways Department to wit for Formation of New Road from Madurai Ring Road (New Viraganoor)
to Old Thondi Road (Near Sakkudi) (Approximate Distance (8.4 Km / 8400 M) and it having already been decided
that the amount of compensation to be awarded for the land is to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed

Under sub-section 1 of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the
Governor of Tamil Nadu is hereby acquires the lands specified in the schedule below and measuring an extent of,
12751 Square Meters of Wet and Dry lands to the same, a little more or less needed for Highways purpose, to wit for
Formation of New Road from Madurai Ring Road (New Viraganoor) to Old Thondi Road (Near Sakkudi) (Approximate
Distance (8.4 Km / 8400 M) in Andarkottaram Village Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District.
The plan of the lands is kept in the Office of the Special District Revenue Officer (LA), Highways, and Office of
the Special Tahsildar (LA), Highways Unit-2, Collectorate campus New Building, Madurai – 20 may be inspected at
any time during office hours.
