Addendum to AIC No. 27/2017

This addendum to Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC) No. 27/2017, issued by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on February 13, 2018 (File No. 09/18/2008-IR), disseminates directions from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (letter No. AV-20036/50/2017-AD dated January 31, 2018). It concerns an Addendum to Order No. 25/2017-18, issued by the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) on November 30, 2017, regarding aeronautical tariffs for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, for the first control period (April 1, 2016 - March 31, 2021). The AERA addendum, issued on January 23, 2017, addresses collection charges omitted from the Tariff Card. Key points include: If payment is made within 15 days of receipt of the invoice then collection charges at ₹5 per departing passenger shall be paid by MIHAN India Limited (MIL). Collection charges are not applicable to casual/non-scheduled operators, and no User Development Fee (UDF) will be levied for transit passengers. Furthermore, the collection charge on Passenger Service Fee (PSF) shall be at 2.5% of PSF. The effective date for these charges is December 16, 2017, as prescribed by AERA.
