दक ऐल्युजमना और एल्युजमजनयम के जिजनमााण तथा बाक्साइट के उत्खनन म ें लगे उद्योगों की सेिाओं को, िो औद्योजगक
जििाि अजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की पहली अनुसूची की क्रमिः मि 30 और मि 31, के अधीन आती ह,ैं उक्त
अजधजनयम के प्रयोिनों के जलए एक लोक उपयोगी सेिा घोजित की िाए;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार न े उक्त उद्योगों को ,भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोिगार मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना संखयांक
का.आ. 992(अ), तारीख 27 फ़रिरी, 2025 द्वारा तारीख 27 फ़रिरी, 2025 स े छह मास तक की अिजध के जलए उक्त
अजधजनयम के प्रयोिनों के जलए अंजतम बार लोक उपयोगी सेिाए ं घोजित दकया ह;ै

(vi) के परन्द्तुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, अजधसूचना का.आ.992(अ), तारीख 27 फरिरी, 2025 म ेंजनर्िाष्ट
अिजध को 27 अगस्ट्त, 2025 से छह महीने की और अिजध के जलए बढ़ाती ह,ै जिसके िौरान उक्त उद्योगों म ेंलगी सेिाएं उक्त
अजधजनयम के प्रयोिनों के जलए सािािजनक उपयोजगता सेिा होंगी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th August, 2025
S.O. 3621(E).— WHEREAS the Central Government is satisfied that public interest so requires that
the services of industries engaged in Manufacturing of Alumina and Aluminium and Mining of Bauxite,
which are covered under items 30 and 31, respectively, of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act,
1947 (14 of 1947), to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;
AND WHEREAS, the Central Government has declared the said industrial undertaking to be public
utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect from the 27th February,
2025, vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, number S.O.
992(E), dated the 27th February, 2025;
AND WHEREAS, the Central Government is of the opinion that public interest requires the
extension of the public utility service status to the said industry for a further period of six months;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub- clause (vi) of clause
(n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the Central Government, hereby extends
the period specified in the notification number S.O.992(E), dated the 27th February, 2025 for a further period
of six month with effect from the 27th August, 2025 during which the services engaged in the said industries
to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act.
