सा.का.जन. 476(अ).— केंद्रीय सरकार, कममचारी भजिष्य जनजध और प्रकीण म उपबंध अजधजनयम, 1952
(1952 का 19) की धारा 7 की उपधारा (1) के साथ पठित धारा 6ग द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, कममचारी
जनक्षेप-सहबद्ध बीमा स्ट्कीम, 1976 का और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत स्ट्कीम बनाती ह,ै अथामत:-
1. (1) इस स्ट्कीम का संजक्षप्त नाम कममचारी जनक्षेप-सहबद्ध बीमा (संिोधन) स्ट्कीम 2025 ह।ै
(2) यह रािपत्र म ें उसके प्रकािन की तारीख से लाग ूहोगी।
2. कममचारी जनक्षेप-सहबद्ध बीमा स्ट्कीम, 1976 के परै ा 22 म,ें -
(i) उप-पैरा (1) के पश्चात जनम्नजलजखत उप-परै ा अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथामत:-
“(1क) उप-पैरा (1) के अधीन दकसी कममचारी की, पूिमिती बारह मास के िौरान या उसकी सिस्ट्यता की अिजध के
िौरान मृत्यु होन े की जस्ट्थजत म,ें भल े ही दकसी कममचारी का यथाजस्ट्थजत, िो जनजध का या अजधजनयम की धारा 17

के अधीन छूट प्राप्त भजिष्य जनजध का सिस्ट्य ह,ै औसत भजिष्य जनजध अजतिेष पचास हिार रुपये से कम हो, तो उस े
पचास हिार रुपय ेका न्यनू तम बीमा फायिा सिं ेय दकया िाएगा।”
(ii) उप-पैरा (3) म ें “िो भी अजधकतर हो” िब्िों के पश्चात और स्ट्पष्टीकरण से पहले जनम्नजलजखत परंतुक
अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथामत:-
"परंत ु दक स्ट्कीम के उप-पैरा (3) के अधीन सिं ेय न्यूनतम बीमा फायिों की पात्रता के जलए अपजे क्षत बारह मास की
जनरंतर अिजध के अिधारण के प्रयोिनाथम, जनयोिन की िो अिजधयों के बीच साि दिन तक के अंतराल को अनिेखा
कर दिया िाएगा और ऐसी बहु सेिाओं को िोड़कर इस े जनरंतर सेिा माना िाएगा।"
(iii) उप-पैरा (4) के पश्चात जनम्नजलजखत उप-पैरा अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथामत:-
“(5) यदि कोई कममचारी, िो, यथाजस्ट्थजत, अजधजनयम की धारा 17 के अधीन छूट प्राप्त जनजध या भजिष्य जनजध का
सिस्ट्य ह,ै जनयोिक की उपजस्ट्थजत पंजिका पर रहत े हुए अंजतम अजभिाय प्राप्त होन े के छह मास के भीतर सेिा के
िौरान मर िाता ह,ै तो ऐसे कममचारी को स्ट्कीम के अनुसार बीमा फायिा जमलेगा।”

MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th July, 2025
G.S.R. 476(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6C read with sub-section (1) of section 7 of
the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Government hereby
makes the following Scheme further to amend the Employees' Deposit-Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, namely:-
1. (1) This Scheme may be called the Employees' Deposit-Linked Insurance (Amendment) Scheme 2025.
(2) It shall come into effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, in paragraph 22, -
(i) after sub-paragraph (1), the following subparagraph shall be inserted, namely: -
“(1A) In the event of death of an employee under sub-paragraph (1) during the preceding twelve months or
during the period of his membership, even if the average provident fund balance of an employee who is a
member of the Fund or of a provident fund exempted under section 17 of the Act, as the case may be, is less
than rupees fifty thousand, a minimum assurance benefit of rupees fifty thousand shall be payable.”
(ii) in sub-paragraph (3) after the words “whichever is higher” and before the Explanation, the following
proviso shall be inserted, namely :-[भाग II—खण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
“Provided that for the purpose of determination of continuous period of twelve months required for eligibility
of minimum assurance benefits payable under sub-paragraph (3) of the Scheme, the gap of upto sixty days
between two spells of employment shall be ignored and such multiple services shall be added being treated as
continuous service.”
(iii) after sub-paragraph (4), the following sub-paragraph shall be inserted, namely:-
“(5) In the event an employee who is a member of the Fund or of a provident fund exempted under section 17
of the Act, as the case may be, dies in service within six months of the last contribution received while still
being on the rolls of the employer, such an employee shall get the assurance benefit as per the Scheme.”
