Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Height Restrictions for Safeguarding of Aircraft Operations) Second Amendment Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Civil Aviation (Height Restrictions for Safeguarding of Aircraft Operations) Rules, 2015, in rule 9A for the provisos, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- “Provided that where No Objection Certificate has been issued under vide number S.O.84(E), dated the 14th January, 2010 upon an application made to the Airports Authority of India or the relevant Defence Authorities, within a period of ninety days from date of publication of this amendment notification, the period of validity for such No Objection Certificate shall be extended for a period not exceeding twelve years.” [F.
