S.O. 2028(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Protection of Plant
Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Act, 2001 (53 of 2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in (erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation) the
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare), vide number S.O.
1589(E), dated the 11th November, 2005, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-
section (ii), dated the 11th November, 2005 namely:-
In the said notification, under the heading “Chairperson appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (5) of
section 3” for the entry Dr. Kumble Vinod Prabhu”, the entry “ Dr Trilochan Mohapatra” shall be substituted.
