Ministry of Culture AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO YOUNG ARTISTS IN DIFFERENT CULTURAL FIELDS (SYA) 3.27 Crore disbursed to 1079 Young Artists in Different Cultural Fields under SYA scheme during FY 2025-26 (till 30.10.2025) A total of 4956 Young Artists received Scholarships from 2021 to 2025 October प्रव तथ: 11 DEC 2025 3:43PM by PIB Delhi The number and details of applications received; scholarships sanctioned is attached at Annexure A. Further, number of Scholars and amount disbursed for the period from financial year 2021-22 to financial year 2025-26 (till 30.10.2025) is attached at Annexure B. After receipt of the applications from the Scholars, the same are evaluated/scrutinized and after that interaction/interview are also held. Subsequently eligible applications are placed before Expert Committee for further consideration and approval and funds for scholarship is released to the eligible candidates in 04 six-monthly installments. However, release after 1st installment depends upon timely receipt of six-monthly reports from Scholars.
