(1) This Scheme may be called the Employees' Provident Funds (Amendment) Scheme, 2023. (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Employees’ Provident Funds Scheme, 1952, in paragraph 11, in sub-paragraph (1), the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- “Provided that the Central Board of Trustees shall meet at least twice in each financial year and the Executive Committee and the Regional Committee shall meet at least four times in each financial year.” [F.
