NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th July, 2017
S.O. 2152(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects
and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plant
Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:—
1. Short title and Commencement.—(1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import
into India) (Sixth Amendment) Order, 2017.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.II (ii) 3
2. In Schedule I of Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, under the heading “Land Frontier
Stations”, after serial number 14 and the entries relating thereto the following serial numbers and entries shall be
added, namely :—
Land Frontier Stations
“15. Changrabandha (West Bengal)
16. Ghozadanga (West Bengal)
17. Mehadipur (West Bengal)”
