No. D.21013/21/2021-DC CENTRAL DRUGS STANDARD CONTROL ORGANISATION DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF HEALTH SERVICES FDA Bhavan, Kotla Road New Delhi Dated: 07.07.2021 CIRCULAR With the significant abatement of the impact of 2nd wave of Covid-19 pandemic across the country, the lockdown and other related restrictions have also been eased considerably. There is no denying the fact that the 2nd wave was more devastating and has adversely impacted the functioning of CDSCO as well. However, it is quite heartening to note that our officers/ staff including outsourced manpower have demonstrated a good sense of responsibility and helped CDSCO achieve its objectives/goals during these difficult times of pandemic. 2. All said and done, it is now imperative that with the overall improvement in pandemic situation as mentioned above, we all get back to our work as per practice that prevailed before the onset of the pandemic. Also, CDSCO being an integral part of the Dte. GHS under the Ministry of Health & FW falls under essential services category which has played and is still to playa proactive role in times to come in strengthening Govt. efforts to contain the disease. 3. It has accordingly been decided that with immediate effect, all officers/staff (incl. contractual/outsourced staff) of CDSCO(HQ) and its field formations including Labs will attend office regularly on all working days without fail. All regular officers/staff not attending office due to any reason will apply and get sanctioned leave of the kind due and admissible. Similarly, the contractual/outsourced staff will also be allowed leave as per their current entitlement against their absence. In case of their absence for a longer duration than the admissibility of their leave, their remuneration will be deducted. These instructions may please be noted by all for due compliance. 4.
