NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th June, 2022
G.S.R. 653(E).—The following draft of the Presiding Officer of the Labour Court, Industrial
Tribunal (Salaries, Allowances and other Terms & Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2022, which
the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the
Industrial Disputes Act,1947 (14 of 1947) is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of the said
section for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the
said draft rules will be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on
which the copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the
public;
Objections or suggestions, if any may be addressed to Shri C.S. Rao, Deputy Secretary, Room
No. 310, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi – 110001
The objections and suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said
draft rules before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the Central Government.
DRAFT RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Presiding Officer of the Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal and
National Tribunal (Salaries, Allowances and other Terms & Conditions of Service) Amendment
Rules,2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Presiding Officer of the Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal (Salaries, Allowances and other
Terms & Conditions of Service) Rules, 2015, in the Rule 4(1), the following shall be replaced,-
(i) for the word and figure ―Rs. 80,000/-(fixed) per month‖ the word and figure ―Rs. 2,25,000/-
per month‖ shall be substituted.
