CORRIGENDUM
Subject: Corrigendum to guidelines regarding utilization of Funds generated in the
Planning Authorities under various heads;
Reference: Circular No. UDD 285 MYAPRA 2016 dated: 03.06.2019

In the circular No. UDD 285 MYAPRA 2016 dated: 03.06.2019, the following shall be
substituted for Sl.No III FUND.
III.FUND:
Fees collected in lieu of Parks and Open spaces.
1. Source:
i. Funds collected in lieu of Park and Open Spaces as per Government
Notification No. UDD 522 MYAPRA 2005,dated 10.03.2006
ii. Presently, If any Planning Authority is permitted to collect the fees in lieu of
Parks and Open spaces.
iii. Interest generated from (i) and (ii)

2. Utilization
i. For acquiring land reserved for parks and Open spaces in the Master Plan
ii. For development of existing parks within jurisdiction of Planning Authority and the
Local Authorities of the Local Planning Area
NOTE:
1. For the utilization under Sl.No-I FUND shall be as per Rule 37-A(1)(C) of the
Karnataka Planning Authority (Amendment) Rules 2019 and
2. The utilization under Sl.No-IV FUND shall be as per Rule 37-C of the Karnataka
Planning Authority (Amendment) Rules 2021
