New Delhi, the 23rd March, 2023
S.O.1409(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10
of 55) read with sub-clause (1) of clause 5 of the Cotton Seed Price (Control) Order, 2015, the Central Government,
after consultation with the Committee referred to in sub-clause (2) of the said clause to recommend the maximum sale
price of cotton seed, hereby notify the maximum sale price of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt.) cotton seed packets (475
grams RIB seed packet containing minimum 5 percent and maximum 10 percent non Bt. Cotton seed) specified in the
Table below for the financial year 2023-24 for the whole of India
