**Summary:**
This order, issued by the Government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), dated July 3, 2018, establishes a Veterinary Cell within the CDSCO headquarters (CDSCOHQ). The functions of the Veterinary Cell include: Marketing Authorization, Import and Registration, CLAA activities, and Field trials of veterinary vaccines and drugs; Form 29 NOC of Veterinary Vaccines and Veterinary drugs; Matters related to Oxytocin and usage of Antimicrobials in Veterinary; Creating a nodal point to recognize C.SIAH, Bagpat as CDL for testing of veterinary Biologicals; and matters related to IVRI, Ministry of Agriculture, and other miscellaneous veterinary-related work.
The order is effective immediately. Distribution includes all officers concerned, all DDCI/ADCs, DDAD, CDSCOHQ, DCG, and the guard file. The order was approved by Arun Sharma, Director Admn.
