New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026
S.O. 2319(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 100 of the Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (35
of 2020), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers exercisable by it under sub-section (1) of section 87 of
the said Code shall, in respect of offences punishable under sub-sections (4), (6), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (18)
and (19) of section 86, be exercisable also by the Officers specified in column (2) of the Table below, in respect of
industrial establishments or undertakings for which the Central Government is the appropriate Government under clause
(b) of section 2 of the said Code, within the respective areas specified against each in column (3) of the said Table,
