अब, इसजलए, कीटनािक अजधजनयम, 1968 (1968 का 46) की धारा 27 के साथ परित धारा 28 और धारा
36 की उप धारा (1) के द्वारा प्रदि िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए जविेि रूप स े उक्त अजधसचू ना म ें आंजिक संिोधन करत े
हुए, केंद्र सरकार जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती ह,ै अथाबत्: -

Addendum to Notification
S.O. 2635(E).—Whereas vide notification number S.O. 2268(E) dated 6th July, 2020 published in
the Gazette of India, extraordinary, part-II, section-3, sub-section (ii) on 7th July, 2020, Department of
Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare issued a draft order to restrict the use of Glyphosate through
Pest Control Operators.
Whereas, the objections or suggestions were invited from any person in respect of the said draft
Order before the expiry of the aforesaid period of thirty days for consideration by the Central Government;
And whereas, the Central Government has considered the representations received from various
pesticide associations for extension of period for submission of objection and suggestion from thirty days to
ninety days;
Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 read with section 28 and sub-
section (1) of section 36 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968) and in partial modifications of the said
notifications to the extent specifically provided herein, the Central Government hereby makes the following
order, namely:-
1. The period of thirty days to be substituted by a period of ninety days from the date of
publication of Notification No. S.O. 2268 (E) dated 7th July, 2020.
2. Other terms and conditions of the aforesaid notification dated 7th July, 2020, shall remain
unchanged.
