(1) (2) Joint Director Level 1 to 4 Deputy Director General in-charge of Level 5 to 6 Oversight and Compliance Division 2. In case, any act or omission causes the contravention of more than one severity level, the penalty shall be adjudged by the designated officer specified in column (1) corresponding to the highest severity level involved therein specified in column (2) of the above table. 3. In case of vacancy of a designated officer by virtue of any reason but not limited to superannuation, leave and the like for the matters of his jurisdiction, the Director General, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security shall by way of an order nominate an officer of the same rank or higher rank of Joint Director or the Deputy Director General, as the case may be, to act as the designated officer, only for the period such vacancy continues.
