2. ये जनयम सरकारी राजपत्र में आनके ऄंजतम प्रकािन की तारीख से लागू ह गे।
3. िायुयान (दघु घटनाओं एिं घटनाओं की जांच) जनयम, 2017 में, -
(1) जनयम 10 म,ें ईप-जनयम (1) में, -
(i) धारा (क) कग जनम्नजलजखत के स्ट्थान पर रखा जाएगा, नामतः -
"(क) ऄपने ऄजधकार के तहत समन जारी करके जांच के जलए प्रासंजगक दकसी भी गिाह कग बुलाने तथा परीिण
करने के जलए, तथा ऐसे गिाह स े जानकारी प्रस्ट्तुत ऄथिा प्रदान कराने के जलए, ऄथिा दकसी भी पूछताछ का
जिाब दने े या ईसे िापस करने के जलए, जग िह करना ईजचत समझे;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th January, 2022
G.S.R. 11(E).—The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents
& Incidents) Rules, 2017, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by
Section 7 of the Aircraft Act, 1934 (22 of 1934), is hereby published as required by Section 14 of the said Act, for
information of all persons likely to be affected thereby, and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into
consideration after a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India in which this
notification is published, are made available to the public.
Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to Shri Pranjol Chandra, Director, Ministry of Civil
Aviation, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, New Delhi (Email ID: vesec.moca@nic.in).
Any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules
before the expiry of the period specified above, will be considered by the Central Government.
Draft Rules
1. These rules may be called the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents)…… (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
2. These shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.
3. In the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2017, —
(1) in Rule 10, in sub-rule(1), —
(i) the clause (a) shall be substituted, namely —
“(a) to call and examine any witness relevant to the investigation, by issuing summons under his
hand, and to require such witness to furnish or produce information or evidence, or to answer or
returns to any inquiries he thinks fit to make;
(ii) in clause (b), for the word “person”, the word “witness” shall be substituted.
(2) rule 18 shall be omitted.
(3) rule 19 shall be omitted.
