Draft amendment to para 8 pertaining to requirements of Accountable Manager of CAR Section 3 Series C Part II - "Minimum
Requirements for Grant of Air Operator Certificate to Operate Scheduled Air Transport Services (Passenger)"
8. ORGANIZATION AND PERSONNEL
Existing Provision Draft Changes
8.1. The applicant shall have an organisation to No Change

such that flights can be conducted safely across the whole of the intended routenetwork; and,
(c) an effective management system and SMS are established and maintained
in accordance with CAR Section 1 Series C Part I
8.4 The Accountable Manager appointed under paragraph 8.2 shall be subject
to acceptance by DGCA.
8.5 The Accountable Manager shall also designate a suitable person holding a
management position in the organization as an Alternate Accountable
Manager, who shall be responsible for discharge of responsibilities of
Accountable Manager in his/her absence. The overall responsibility shall
however shall remain with the Accountable Manager.
8.3. The Accountable Manager shall nominate To be re-numbered as 8.6

organisation for post holder positions as per
requirements given in Annexure-III to this
CAR. Such persons shall be
accepted/approved by DGCA.
