**Policy Summary: eShram One-Stop Solution for Unorganized Workers**
On August 26, 2021, the Ministry of Labour and Employment launched the eShram portal (eshram.gov.in) to create a comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW) seeded with Aadhaar. The eShram portal aims to register and support unorganized workers by providing them with a Universal Account Number (UAN) based on self-declaration.
As of July 17, 2025, over 30.94 crore unorganized workers have registered on the eShram portal nationwide, including 85.86 lakhs workers in Andhra Pradesh.
In alignment with the Budget Announcement 2024-25, the Ministry of Labour and Employment launched the eShram One-Stop Solution on October 21, 2024. This initiative integrates various social security and welfare schemes onto the eShram portal, enabling registered unorganized workers to access these schemes and track the benefits they have received.
Currently, fourteen schemes from different Central Ministries and Departments have been integrated with eShram. These include: Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors Atmanirbhar Nidhi (PMSVANidhi), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme (MGNREGS), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAYG), Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPMJAY), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAYU), Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana (PMKMY), Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS), Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS), One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC), and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandna Yojana (PMMVY).

In keeping with the vision of the Budget Announcement 2024-25 on developing eShram as a One-Stop-
Solution for unorganized workers to have access to various social security schemes, Ministry of Labour and

Employment launched the eShram–“One-Stop-Solution” on 21 October 2024. eShram– “One-Stop-
Solution” entails integration of different social security/ welfare schemes at single portal i.e. eShram. This
enables unorganised workers registered on eShram to access social security schemes and see benefits availed
by them so far, through eShram.
