Government of India / भारत सरकार Directorate General of Civil Aviation / नागर विमानन महावनदेशालय Udaan Bhawan, Safdarjung Airport / उड़ान भिन, सफदरजंग एयरपोर्ट New Delhi – 110003 / नई वदल्ली-११०००३ PUBLIC NOTICE File No: DGCA-15011(01)/15/2025-DAS Dated: 23rd March 2026 Subject: Empanelment of Breath-analyzer Equipment for use in Aviation Sector Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is in the process of empanelment of Breath- Analyzer Equipment for use in Aviation Sector, based on standardized technical specifications and operational benchmarks to ensure technical accuracy, consistency & operational reliability and conformity with regulatory requirements for implementation of requirements of CAR Section 5 Series F Part III and Part IV issued by DGCA. 2. The Breath Analyzer Equipment Manufacturers and Agencies engaged in calibration of Breath Analyzer Equipment used in civil aviation are invited to submit their proposal for empanelment along with following information: 1. Name of the Breath Analyzer Equipment Manufacturers/ Breath Analyzer Equipment calibration Agency 2. Details of the BA equipment 3. Statement of compliance with specifications laid down in CAR Section 5, Series F, Part III & CAR Section 5, Series F, Part IV, 4. Details of Company on following counts: i. The infrastructure and Technical capabilities ii. Calibration methodology and frequency iii. The accreditations such as ISO Certification iv. The experience in manufacturing / calibration of Breath-analyzer Equipment 3. All proposals must be submitted within 30 days of publication of this notice through Email or by Registered Post addressed to Shri H.N. Mishra, Director of Air Safety, O/o the Director General of Civil Aviation, Udaan Bhawan, New Delhi – 110003, Email: hnmishra.dgca@nic.in 4. The breath-analyzer equipment meeting the defined technical and regulatory benchmarks will be considered for empanelment after facility inspection provided there is no previous non compliances/ deficiencies in the process and procedures.
