और, उक्त अजधकरण न ेउक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (2) के अधीन अपनी ररपोटण और जिजनजश्चय तारीख 30 ददसंबर, 2010 को प्रस्ट्तुत कर ददया ह;ै और, केंद्रीय सरकार और पक्षकार रायय आंध्र प्रदेि, कनाणटक और महाराष्ट्र द्वारा उनस े संबंजधत जनदेि उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन उक्त अजधकरण को तारीख 29 माच,ण 2011 को प्रस्ट्तुत दकए गए ह;ैं 4716 GI/2025 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] और, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन उक्त अजधकरण द्वारा अजतररक्त ररपोटण तारीख 29 माच,ण 2011 को या उससे एक िषण पहले, केंद्रीय सरकार को भेिना अपेजक्षत था; और, उक्त अजधकरण के अनरु ोध पर, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन अजतररक्त ररपोटण प्रस्ट्ततु करने की अिजध समय-समय पर अजधसूचना संखयांक का०आ० 653 (अ), तारीख 29 माचण, 2012, का० आ० 2339(अ), तारीख 28 जसतंबर, 2012, का०आ०916 (अ), तारीख 2 अप्रलै , 2013, का०आ० 2939 (अ), तारीख 27 जसतंबर, 2013, का०आ० 3515 (अ) तारीख 27 निंबर, 2013 द्वारा 31 िनिरी, 2014 तक बढ़ाई गई थी जिसे िल संसाधन मंत्रालय के तारीख 5 फरिरी, 2014 के आदेि द्वारा 31 िलु ाई, 2014 तक और बढ़ाई गयी थी; और, उक्त अजधकरण न े केंद्रीय सरकार को उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन अपनी अजतररक्त ररपोटण 29 निंबर, 2013 को अग्रेजषत कर दी ह;ै और, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 12 के अधीन, केंद्रीय सरकार, अजधकरण द्वारा ररपोटण भेि ददए िाने के पश्चात और यथािीघ्र केंद्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो िाने पर दक मामलें म ेंअजधकरण को कोई अजतररक्त जनदेि आिश्यक नहीं होगा, अजधकरण का जिघटन कर देगी। और, आंध्र प्रदिे पुनगणठन अजधजनयम, 2014 (2014 का 6) की धारा 89 म ें यह उपबंध दकया गया ह ै दक कृष्णा िल जििाद अजधकरण की अिजध उक्त धारा के खंड (क) और खंड (ख) म ेंजिजनर्दणष्ट जनदेि-जनबंधों के साथ बढ़ाई िायगे ी; और, केंद्रीय सरकार न,े अंतरराजययक नदी िल जििाद अजधजनयम, 1956 की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के द्वारा प्रदत्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उक्त अजधकरण द्वारा अजतररक्त ररपोटण प्रस्ट्तुत करने की अिजध को भारत सरकार के िल िजक्त मंत्रालय, िल संसाधन, नदी जिकास और गगं ा सरं क्षण जिभाग की अजधसूचना संखयांक का०आ० 1290 (अ), तारीख 15 मई, 2014 द्वारा तारीख 1 अगस्ट्त, 2014 स े दो िषण की और अिजध के जलए बढ़ाई गयी थी तादक आंध्र प्रदेि पनु गणठन अजधजनयम, 2014 की धारा 89 के खंड (क) और खंड (ख) म ेंजिजनर्दणष्ट जनदेि-जनबंधनों का जनदान दकया िा सके; और, उक्त अजधकरण के अनरु ोध पर, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के अधीन अजतररक्त ररपोटण प्रस्ट्ततु करन ेकी अिजध समय-समय पर अजधसूचना संखयांक का०आ० 2462 (अ), तारीख 18 िलु ाई, 2016, का०आ० 2459 (अ), तारीख 31 िलु ाई, 2017, का०आ० 3950 (अ), तारीख 9 अगस्ट्त, 2018, का०आ० 3146 (अ), तारीख 29 अगस्ट्त, 2019, का०आ० 2412 (अ), तारीख 23 िलु ाई, 2020, का० आ० 2890 (अ), तारीख 20 िलु ाई, 2021, का०आ० 2916 (अ), तारीख 27 िून, 2022 और का०आ० 2994 (अ), तारीख 06 िुलाई, 2023 द्वारा, और बढ़ा दी गई थी; और, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3, धारा 5. की उप-धारा (1) और धारा 12 के उपबंधों के अनुसरण म,ें केंद्रीय सरकार ने न्यायजनणणयन के जलए उक्त न्यायाजधकरण को भारत सरकार के िल िजक्त मंत्रालय िल संसाधन, नदी जिकास और गंगा संरक्षण जिभाग, की अजधसचू ना संखया का० आ0 4375 (अ), तारीख 6 अ‍टूबर, 2023 द्वारा अजतररक्त जनदेि जनबधं न जनर्दणष्ट दकए थ;े और, उक्त अजधकरण के अनुरोध पर, कृष्णा िल जििाद अजधकरण के ररपोटण और जिजनश्चय प्रस्ट्तुत करने की अिजध को 1 अप्रलै 2024 स े 31 िुलाई 2025 तक अजधसूचना संखयांक का०आ० 1507 (अ), तारीख 21 माच ण 2024 द्वारा, और बढ़ा दी गई थी; और, उक्त अजधकरण न े ररपोटण और जिजनश्चय प्रस्ट्ततु करन े के जलए 1 अगस्ट्त 2025 स े 31 िलु ाई 2026 तक की अिजध को और बढ़ाने का अनुरोध दकया ह;ै[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 अतः, अब, केंद्रीय सरकार, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 5 की उपधारा (3) के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, कृष्णा िल जििाद अजधकरण द्वारा ररपोटण और जिजनश्चय प्रस्ट्ततु करन े की अिजध को तारीख 1 अगस्ट्त 2025 स े 31 िलु ाई 2026 तक की और अिजध के जलए बढ़ाती ह।ै [फा. स.ं एन.-57012/1/2021-बी.एम.] प्रदीप कुमार अग्रिाल, संय‍ु त सजचि MINISTRY OF JAL SHAKTI (Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 10th July, 2025 S.O. 3221(E).— Whereas, the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal (hereinafter referred to as the said Tribunal) was constituted on the 2nd April, 2004 vide notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Water Resources, number S.O 451(E), dated the 2nd April, 2004, under section 4 of the Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), for the adjudication of the water disputes regarding Inter- State river Krishna and river valley thereof; And, whereas, the said Tribunal submitted its report and decision under sub- section (2) of section 5 of the said Act on 30th December, 2010; And, whereas, the Central Government and the Party States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra preferred their respective references to the said Tribunal under sub-section (3) of section 5 of the said Act on 29th March, 2011; And, whereas, the said Tribunal was required to forward to the Central Government a further report under sub- section (3) of section 5 of the said Act on or before one year from 29th March, 2011; And, whereas, on the request of the said Tribunal, the period of submission of further report under sub-section (3) of section 5 of the said Act was extended from time to time vide notifications number S.O 653(E), dated the 29th March, 2012, S.O 2339 (E), dated the 28th September, 2012, S.O. 916 (E), dated the 2nd April, 2013, S.O. 2939(E), dated the 27th September, 2013, S.O. 3515(E), dated the 27th November, 2013 up to the 31st January, 2014, which was further extended up to 31st July, 2014, vide Ministry of Water Resources order dated 5th February, 2014; And, whereas, in the meantime, the said Tribunal forwarded to the Central Government its further report under sub-section (3) of section 5 of the said Act on the 29th November, 2013; And, whereas, under section 12 of the said Act, the Central Government shall dissolve the Tribunal after it has forwarded its report and as soon as the Central Government is satisfied that no further reference to the Tribunal in the matter would be necessary; And, whereas, section 89 of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act, 2014 (6 of 2014) provides that the term of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal shall be extended with the terms of reference specified in clauses (a) and (b) of the said section; And, whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (3) of section 5 of the Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956, the Central Government extended the period of submission of further report by the said Tribunal for a further period of two years with effect from 1st August, 2014 so as to address the terms of reference specified in clauses (a) and (b) of the Section 89 of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act, 2014, vide S.O.1290 (E), dated the 15th May, 2014; And, whereas, on the request of the said Tribunal, the period of submission of further report under sub-section (3) of section 5 of the said Act was extended from time to time vide notifications number S.O. 2462 (E), dated the 18th July, 2016, S.O. 2459 (E), dated the 31st July, 2017, S.O. 3950 (E), dated the 9th August, 2018, S.O. 3146 (E), dated the 29th August, 2019, S.O. 2412 (E), dated the 23rd July, 2020, S.O. 2890 (E), dated the 20th July, 2021, S.O. 2916 (E), dated the 27th June, 2022, and S.O. 2994 (E), dated the 6th July, 2023; And, whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of section 3, sub-section (1) of section 5 and section 12 of the said Act, the Central Government referred further terms of reference to said Tribunal for adjudication vide notification4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] of the Government of India, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, number S.O. 4375 (E), dated the 6th October, 2023; And, whereas, on the request of the said Tribunal, the period of submission of report and decision by the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal was extended for a further period with effect from 1st day of April, 2024 to 31st day of July, 2025 vide notification number S.O. 1507(E), dated the 21st March, 2024; And, whereas, the said Tribunal has requested to extend the period of submission of report and decision for a further period with effect from the 1st day of August, 2025 to 31st day of July, 2026; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under the proviso to sub- section (3) of section 5 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby extends the period of submission of report and decision by the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal for a further period with effect from the 1st day of August, 2025 to 31st day of July, 2026.
