Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 27 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (Central Act 46 of 1968), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby prohibits the sale, distribution or use of insecticide or any batches thereof, any combination thereof as specifi ed in the Schedule appended hereto, for the period of sixty days from the date of publication of this notifi cation pendlnq investigation into the matter.
