(1) संजक्षप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ – इन जनयमों का कीटनािी (ततृ ीय संिोधन) जनयम, 2024 ह।ै (2) य े रािपत्र म ेंउनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे। 2. कीटनािी जनयम, 1971, जनयम 10, के, उप-जनयम(1क) म,ें प्रथम परंतुक म,ें “31 किसबं र, 2023” अंक, अक्षर और िब्ि के स्ट्थान पर “30 िून, 2024’’ अंक, अक्षर और िब्ि रख ेिायेंगे I [फा. स.ं 13035/28/2014-पी.पी-I (खंड –viii)] फैज़ अहमि ककिवई, अपर सजचव (पािप संरक्षण) टटप्पण: मलू जनयम, भारत के रािपत्र असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखडं (i) म ें सा.का.जन. स.ं 1650(अ), किनांक 19 अक्टूबर, 1971 द्वारा प्रकाजित ककए गए थ े और सा.का.जन. स.ं 37(अ) किनांक12 िनवरी 2024 द्वारा अंजतम बार संिोधन ककए गए। MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE (Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th March, 2024 G.S.R. 228(E).—Whereas the draft rules further amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971, was published, as required by section 36 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968) vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare) number G.S.R.34 (E), dated the 9th January, 2024, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, section-3, sub-section (i), inviting objections or suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India in which the said notification was published were made available to the public; And whereas, copies of the said notification were made available to the public on 9th January, 2024; And whereas, no objections or suggestions were received from the public on the said draft Rules by the Central Government; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971, namely :- 1. (1) These Rules may be called the Insecticides (Third Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Insecticides Rules, 1971, in rule 10, in Sub-rule (1A), in the first proviso, for the figures, letters and word “31st December, 2023” the figures, letters and word “30th June, 2024” shall be substituted.
