S.O. 5011(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of
1968), the Central Government hereby nominate following person or member to the Central Insecticides
Board for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification and for this purpose makes
the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry
of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Agriculture), dated the
27th February, 1971, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i),
vide number G.S.R. 301(E), dated the 1st March, 1971, namely:-
In the said notification,
for serial number (xix) (c) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall
be substituted, namely:-
“(xix) (c) Dr. Praveen Kumar Singh, Agriculture
Commissioner, Department of Agriculture & Farmers
Welfare, New Delhi.”

Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 4th February, 1997, namely:-
In the said notification, for serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
substituted, namely:-
“1. Dr. Praveen Kumar Singh “Chairman” for a period of three years or
Agriculture Commissioner, until further orders whichever is earlier
