S.O. 4507(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Cigarettes and Other
Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production,
Supply and Distribution) Act, 2003 (34 of 2003), the Central Government hereby grants recognition to the
testing laboratory at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Hosur Road,
Bangalore, Karnataka-560029, for the purposes of testing the nicotine and tar contents in cigarettes and any
other tobacco products.
