1. सजं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ –
(1) इन जनयमों को राष्ट्रीय संस्ट्मारक प्राजधकरण, भती जनयम, 2025 कहा िाएगा।
(2) य ेउनके रािपत्र म ेंप्रकाजित होने की तारीख से प्रवृत् त होंगे।
2. लाग ूहोना- येजनयम इन जनयमों से संलग्न अनुसूची के स्ट्त म्भ (1) में जवजनर्िाष्ट पिों पर लागू होंगे।
3. पि सख्ं या, वगीकरण और वते न मठै रक्स म ें स्ट्तर - पि की संख्या, उनका वगीकरण और वते न मैठरक्स में स्ट् तर वह होगा
िो इनसे उक्त अनुसूची के स्ट्त म् भ (2) से (4) में जवजनर्िाष्ट ह।ैं
4. भती की पद्धजत, आय-ु सीमा, योग्य ता आदि- उक्त पिों पर भती की पद्धजत, आय-ु सीमा, योग् यताएं और उनसे संबंजधत
अन्य बात ें वे होंगी िो पूवोक्त अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (5) से (13) में जवजनर्िाष्ट ह।ैं

को लागू स्ट् वीय जवजध के अधीन अनुज्ञेय ह ै और ऐसा करने के अन् य आधार ह ैं तो वह दकसी व् यजक्त को इस जनयम के प्रवतान
से छूट िे सकेगी।
6. जिजथल करन े की िजक्त - िहां केंद्रीय सरकार की यह राय ह ै दक ऐसा करना आवश्यक अथवा समीचीन है, वहा ं
वह उसके जलए िो कारण ह,ैं उन् ह ें लेखबद्ध करके इन जनयमों के दकसी उपबंध को दकसी वग ा अथवा प्रवग ा के व् यजक्त यों की
बाबत, आििे द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेगी।
7. व्य ावृजत्त - इन जनयमों की कोई बात, ऐस े आरक्षण, आय-ु सीमा में छूट और अन् य ठरयायतों पर प्रभाव नहीं
डालगे ी जिनका केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध म ें समय-समय पर जनकाल े गए आिेिों के अनुसार अनुसूजचत िाजतयों,

संस्ट्मारक प्राजधकरण या अवर
या समकक्ष योग्यता; और
सजचव,संस्ट्कृजत मंत्रालय-सिस्ट्य।
(ii) जनयजमत काय ा में अजधकारी की सहायता करने का कम से
कम तीन वष ा का अनुभव होना चाजहए।
ठटप्प ण1: केंद्रीय सरकार के उसी अथवा दकसी अन्य संगिन अथवा
जवभाग में इस जनयुजक्त से िीक पहले धाठरत दकसी अन्य संवगा-बाह्य

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th August, 2025
G.S.R. 546(E).–––In pursuance of sub-section (5) of section 20F read with sub-section (1) of section 38 of
the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), the Central Government
hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Architectural Drawing Officer,
Survey Officer and Stenographer Grade II in the National Monuments Authority, namely: -
1. Short title and commencement.—
(1) These rules may be called the National Monuments Authority, Recruitment Rules, 2025.
(2)They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Application.—These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification and level
in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.
4. Method of recruitment, age - limit, qualification etc.—The method of recruitment to the said posts, age-limit,
qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid
Schedule.
5. Disqualification.—No person, -
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with the person having a
spouse living, or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with
any other person,

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal
law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing,
exempt such person from the operation of this rule.
6. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, it
may, by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect of
any class or category of persons.
7. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to
be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons
in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
