Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government has given Administrative Sanction for a total of 131.40 Acres of dry land is required in the Dindigul District, Oddanchatram Taluk, Kothayam and Boduvarpatti Villages, for irrigation purpose, namely excavation of New tank across Nallathangal Odai. For this Irrigation Project, Social Impact Assessment shall not apply as no family will be displaced due to the land acquisition and the irrigation project involves developing Agriculture activity and improving Farmer’s life. A Plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector, Dindigul and Office of the Land Acquisition Officer / Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani on any working day during the working hours. The Government is pleased to authorize the requisitioning department Executive Engineer PWD (WRO) Nanganjiyar Basin Division, Palani and his staff to enter upon a survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in section 12 of the said Act.
