Notice is hereby given that the draft amendment will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of thirty days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and that any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person with respect thereto before the expiry of the aforesaid period will be considered by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 3. Objection or suggestion, if any should be addressed in duplicate to the additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department, Secretariat, Chennai-600 009. Draft Amendment In the said Rules, for rule 288-A, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “288-A Notwithstanding anything contained in rules 288, in cases where a State Transport Undertaking cannot procure its own vehicle to run regular service in a nationalized route, the State Transport undertaking shall be at liberty to run any private vehicle taken on hire or lease duly obtaining a permit by an application in Form SCPA (STU) for such Vehicle’’.
