CORRIGENDUM
New Delhi, the 27th September, 2018
S.O. 2628(E).—In continuation to this Ministry's Notification No.U.12012/08/2018-ME-I/FTS No.3141371
dated 08.03.2018 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of the section 11 of the Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956), the Central Government, after consulting the Medical Council of India, hereby makes
the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Actp, namely:
In the said Schedule –
a) against “Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur” under the heading ‘Abbreviation for
Registration’ (column 3), the Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics) qualification shall be a recognized medical
qualification when granted by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur in respect of students being trained
at T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha on or after 2014 instead of 2016”.
