New Delhi, the 17th July, 2018
S.O. 3485(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by section 3A of the Livestock Importation Act, 1898 (9 of
1898), the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India
in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 1500 (E), dated 20th June, 2008,
namely:—
In the said notification, -
(a) in Appendix-I,—
(i) in paragraph 15, in clause (i), for sub-clause (d), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely:—
“(d) the birds had no contact with poultry not meeting the requirements laid down in this certificate or with
wild birds or imported captive birds.”;
(ii) after Annexure-II, the following Annexure shall be inserted, namely:-
“ANNEXURE-III
Company letter head certificate for export of specific pathogenic-free eggs to India
