NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th September, 2016
S.O. 3112(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 2 and section 3A of the Live-stock
Importation Act, 1898 (9 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the
notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Animal Husbandry,
Dairying and Fisheries), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii), vide
number S.O 2666(E), dated the 17th October, 2014, namely:-
In the said notification, –
(i)(cid:32) In paragraph 1, -
(a)(cid:32) In the entry relating to sl. no.(i), for the words “goats and pig”, the words “goat, pig and fish” shall be
substituted;
(b)(cid:32) In the entry relating sl. no.(vii), for the words “Eggs and seeds”, the words “Egg, seeds and products” shall
be substituted;
(c)(cid:32) after sl. no.(xxx) and the entry relating thereto, the following sl. no and entry shall be inserted, namely:-

(ii)(cid:32) In the Schedule, -
(a)(cid:32) for paragraph (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“(2) All applications for permit to import livestock products consignments by land, air, or sea shall be made
electronically on the web portal of Sanitary Import Permit System for Livestock Production (https://sip.nic.in),
maintained by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries in the Ministry of Agriculture and
Farmers Welfare, Government of India, in either Form A or Form B”;
(b)(cid:32) In paragraph (3),-
(cid:40)(cid:41)(cid:73)(cid:32) in sub-paragraph (vii), for the brackets and letters “(XXIV)” in both the places where they occur, the
brackets and letters “(XXXV)” shall be substituted;
(cid:40)(cid:73)(cid:41)(cid:32)(cid:73) in sub-paragraph (viii), for the brackets and letters “(XXV)”, the brackets and letters “(XXVI)” shall be
substituted.
