(1) These rules may be called the Competition Commission of India (salary, allowances, other terms and conditions of service of the Secretary and officers and other employees of the Commission and the number of such officers and other employees) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In Schedule I to the Competition Commission of India (salary, allowances, other terms and conditions of service of the Secretary and officers and other employees of the Commission and the number of such officers and other employees) Rules, 2009,- (a) at serial number 28, against the post of Private Secretary, under column (4), for the entries “PB2 (Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200)”, the following entries shall be substituted namely:— “Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800) plus grade pay of Rs.4600”. (b) under column (12), for the entries “Deputation/absorption: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or public sectors undertaking or autonomous organization: (i) With six years regular service in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2800 or equivalent”, the following entries shall be substituted namely:- “Deputation/absorption: Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organisation or Regulatory Body: (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii) stenographers grade-I in the Pay Band 2 (Rs.9300-34800) with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 with five years regular service in the grade”.
